In P&L Data I find neither "purchasing" nor "production expenses", which are COGS
Do you have General journal? it may help to track
Quang PT
convert P&L to a table
apply filter to account code.
there only appears to be two income elements (sale & bank interest)
remove these from the total and should give outgoings (cost)
P&L construction:
A- Sales (+) sell to customer
COGS (-) purchasing/ or production cost
B- Gross Margin(GM) (+)
C- Sale cost (-)
D- Administrative cost (-)
E- P&L(B-C-D)
COGS is missing.
@bebo it is a 'pretend' company - if it was a real company there would be cost codes appropriately within the P&L.
Gross margin does not form any part of a P&L - profit is the resultant factor simply of Total Income-Total Cost.
Businesses regularly go 'bust' when they get this wrong.
