Hi,
For a fictional manager game I am looking to track the performance (in points) of german soccer players in relation to their market value. By the end, I want to plot a trend line to analyse which players are currently under or overvalued on the market.
Here an example with random numbers
Player Points Market Value Player 1 20 500 Player 2 70 1,200 Player 3 100 2,800 Player 4 140 3,900 Player 5 200 5,100
I figured that the scatter method might be probably the best way to identify the real value of the players. It is relatively easy to plot the "Points" on the x-axis and the "Market Value" on the y-axis. However, I am struggling to include the name of the players into the scatter dots. When I hover over the dots I want to see which player the data belongs to. Right now, I am only able to see the data for the x and y axis, and it all belongs to "Series 1". Is it possible to automatically create a new series for each player?
In the internet, I found a lot of results where people are able to select the label through the option "Label Contains" --> "Value from Cells". In my excel version: Microsoft Excel for Mac, it is not able to select it. If anyone had an alternative for my analysis, I would very much appreciate it!
Thanks in advance,
Dektronary
