Project Time sheet

    Project Time sheet

    Hello

    I want to create a time sheet to track my time against different projects.

    I'll have a start and end time to fill in and a column working out the amount of hours.

    I want to create a drop-down list for my project numbers (which I want to be able to add new projects to list as I go along).

    And then I want a table to work out the total hours worked against each project.

    Are there any good videos or threads you guys could recommend that could help me to achieve this.

    I've got it to work on my sheet 1, but as soon as I move to sheet 2 it doesn't work like it should.

    Welkom aan die Forum, hoe gaan dit daar doer in SA?

    You have had over 240 views on your question and not 1 response. That tells me that members dont really know what you want. Perhaps if you tried rephrasing your question (obviously not the part about where to find vids), more members might offer help?

    I do need to ask ... it appears you already have the tool you are asking for. Where did you get the images you've posted ? What is that software ?

    I grew up in PE, worked on the mines in TVL - Orknie (snorknie), Caletonville and Klerksdorp, moved to USA 18 yrs ago.

    Perhaps, instead of a video, you could just upload a sample of your WB here (see the yellow panel above).

    You could then walk us through what you are trying to do?

    Oky here's my workbook.

    I have the table at the top where I want to show the Project numbers that I worked with for that specific month.
    And in the weekly rows I want to put in the project number and it should add up in the above mentioned table.Matching the hours to the project numbers.
    I have it working sometimes but I would like some advise on how to do it properly (it's done real messy as I'm not an excel expert).

    I hope this makes sense.

    How has the US treated you in the 18 years? Do you miss SA?

    Hi I played around with the little knowledge I have and the sheet doe not work 100%. I'm sure there's functions and workflows I'm not aware of that could give me a better and working end result.

    I'm attaching my WB if you want to have a look at it and see if you understand what I'm trying to accomplish.

    Whats not working?

    If the 2 totals are not matching, that could be because you have a value (4) in G47 that has no JOB number
