Question Adding a group within a existing group

Hi I am making my own income statement on excel and sorting all entry by categories I have created. (grocery, bills....).

I used subtotal function to sort everything based on category and have subtotal of each category and have a grandtotal at the end. The problem is I want to add one more category within this but I dont know how. I have attached the screenshot.

I added the new category manually, but when I group them, it doesnt have that group dropdown thing. I want this "payment" have that long line thing on number 2 tab like others. Any idea?

It does work for me on Ex365, maybe it's a Ex2010 limitation when Groups is on. Try Inserting on a page where the rows are ungrouped.

oh wait that is what you meant. Yes I can right click and insert new rows. But what I wanted is, I wanted to insert new rows within the group and group that within that group. in the picture, you see how row 33-42 are grouped within the larger group? In the same way, I wanted to group the row 43-45
