Have Data Scroll within a Spreadsheet

    Hi,

I have a spreadsheet which has anywhere between 100 and 300 lines of data.

each line is a transport delivery

the data is contained in columns B through G down the pafe

the data (deliveries) are then manually copied into groups call 'Runs'

the runs are in columns I through to CJ

(this will all make sense with the attachment open)

the width of the spreadsheet is not a concern as all users either have a multi monitor set up or widescreen displays, however scrolling up and down is a real pain

I would really like the delivery data in in B through G to scroll without effecting the 'Run' templates to the right of it, as they require scroll horizontally as well.

I can't seem to get it functioning use the split function or freeze panes function

Does anyone understand what I'm requesting and can assist?

    Thanks in advance

I think you need change your data structure layout.
If you are ready then i suggest.

Kindly open new sheet for exam "DATA" sheet
    In Data sheet enter data.
In Run sheet "B1" is data validation. Select whatever you want.
    "B4"
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Thanks Avk,

I either don't understand what you mean, but it is important to know the data does not contain the run number.

A human looks at all the data and manually copies each delivery into the desired position.

I have uploaded a more detailed spreadsheet to the which shows the final product

Re: Have Data Scroll within a Spreadsheet

You mean to say data form "B" to "G" transfer into column "I" to "CI"
If yes, then confirm how to know which data transfer into which table, you have not define any criteria in "B" to "G" table.

Re: Have Data Scroll within a Spreadsheet

Reflect data from left to right is not a big issue. But I wonder if there is any criteria to limit length of rows for each "run#"? Run 1 & 2 is 9 rows, but Run 3 =13, Run 4 =11.
Is it random or not? why not full from Run 1, then 2,...
