Automatically populate values into D3:D18 with dates from the calendar

I need help with some complex formula.

I need to populate values into D3:D18 with dates from the calendar I had built on the right side.

Each value in the calendar consist of W1, W2, W3.....W16.

Thus, if any values selected in the calendar is 'W1', it will populate into the Week 1.

    W2 for Week2 and onwards.

It is not at all clear (to me) what the purpose of the drop-down is or how you want the table on the left to be populated. You should manually populate the calendar with a few examples and show what you want on the left, then ppst the workbook again.

    Administrative Note:

    Welcome to the forum.

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. As you are new here, I have done it for you this time.)

    W2 for Week2 and onwards.

    Example 1:
    I selected W1 for 6 February 2021.

My table on the left will display Week1 - 6/2/2021

Example 2: Continuing from example 1

    I selected W2 on 20/2/2021

My table on the left will display in Week 2- 20/2/2021

OK - so how many dates might be chosen per week? One or more?

Please attach an updated workbook with some examples entered manually.

Week1 map to W1 value only
Week 2 map to W2 value only

    And so forth

    Looks good.
But how do I apply it to the 4 calendar months?
