How to Edit an Irregular Drop Down Box

Hello,

I am working on an excel spreadsheet that seems to have a drop down box in one of the cells that isn't from excel. I cannot click on the drop down box to edit it. The drop down box is NOT protected. When I open the spreadsheet there is a security warning at the top of it that says enable content, and when I click on the the drop down box a formula pops up saying =EMBED("Forms.ComboBox.1",""). I click enable content on the security warning, and the formula goes away and I am unable to edit it completely. I have attached pictures of what I am seeing. I hope someone can help me! I just need to change the numbers from the drop down box.

What happens if you select and right click the dropdown?

If I right click the drop down box nothing appears. If I right click the cell then it thinks nothing is in it, but the word “Sort”

On the developer tab select Design Mode & then click on the combo.

Ahhh thank you! How do I edit the original one? And how do I edit the new one?

I want to change the numbers from 1900 to 2000 in the drop down box. The numbers are linked to different pages. If I go to 1902 another page pops up. However, I need to change it to 2000. I cannot attach a work page because the information on this page is confidential. I’m sorry I realized if I click design mode I am able to change the size of the original combo box, I just don’t know how to change the numbers.

Without knowing how the combo is being populated, I cannot help.

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
