Assigning quarters for non calendar year

Hi Everyone,

Always find that someone knows the answer to my queries on this forum. I am hoping someone can help me with this one too.

I have always used the following formula to assign quarters based on the month..

="Q"&INT((MONTH(C2)-1)/3+1)&" - "&YEAR(C2)

This is great when you financial year is the same as the calendar year. However, I now work for a company for whom financial year starts in April. I want to reassign the quarters based on this but I'm unsure how to get this to work.

NB: The month cell value can change based on data entered elsewhere, so this month it could be Jan and next time it could be Oct.

Any help would be gratefully received, thank you
