Change the fixed column to user defined column with a variable in AddHyperlinks macro

All,

I found this code on this forum and was able to modify it to work in my situation.

1) However I would like to change the fixed column "A" to be a user select column as I have hyperlinks in multiple columns that I would like to convert. One column at a time is fine.....as the columns keep changing.
What I have tried so far is giving me an error in the LR = Range line.

2) Also, the code was originally intended for cell text that didn't have a the Display Text at the end so although it still works, I get an error which I can ignore (End), but if there might be a way to delete the Display Text before running the macro, that would be great because I use Row 1 for the Display Text anyway.

Row 1 Header:Link to Impact
Row 2 Data: <a href="http://kb/ITO/Lists/IA/DispForm.aspx?ID=272">Link to Impact</a>
Row 3 Data: <a href="http://kb/ITO/Lists/IA/DispForm.aspx?ID=309">http://kb/ITO/Lists/IA/DispForm.aspx?ID=309</a>

With lots more searching I was able to find a resolution to the first issue, so will mark this Solved and repost in the correct forum with a new description to describe the remaining problem.
