How to lock formula to cells in another sheet?

    Hi all,

I have a Excel Workbook where I am trying to combine information from several sheets onto one combined front sheet. The issue is I need to lock the formula so it always grabs the data from the same cells in the second sheet, however I have tried ='sheetname'!D14 and ='DB Pipeline'!$D$14 however whenever someone drags data in the second sheet it updates the formula on the first sheet.

I need the first sheet to be "locked" to the second sheet so matter what someone does to the second sheet, the first sheet will continually point to the same cells.

A lot of our company drag sales pipeline figures around on the second sheets so I need to keep the formula on the first constant so it picks up the same area in the second sheet every time.

    Any help massively appreciate!

    Try this:

    =INDIRECT("'DB Pipeline'!D14")

    Hope this helps
