finding and replacing cell contents but including content for cells either side of it

Hi - hope you can help. I want to find data in a cell (easy enough) and replace that data, but also include data for each cell on either side of it.
My example is - if i want to find 'wallaby_rn' using 'find', and 'replace' the cell with data for that cell AND the cells either side of it, resulting in

    [Macropus rufogriseus] [wallaby_rn] [11261]

It seems you can only replace the selected cell only, so currently i have to find the 'wallaby_rn' cells and then paste the 3 cells worth of data in manually - but 35000 times! Any ideas?

If all of finding cells are in same column, or row, it is possible by using helper columns then copy/paste value back
Else, cells are possibly anywhere in the sheet, VBA is highly suggested.
