    Vlookup Return Zero

Sometimes when I do a Vlookup it will not return anything. I will do a Copy-Paste Special-values and a Text to Column-Fixed Width and set it for 60 on the columns I looking for and that fixes it most of the time. However there are still times that I can't get it to return anything. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated,

    Re: Vlookup Help

Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. Just before posting, scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

    Re: Vlookup Help

When I tried to copy a small portion of the spreadsheet to a new spreadsheet I got the formula to work. It must be some kind of formatting issue. Thanks

How do I attache a file? I went to the advanced tab and clicked on the paper clip but all I got was a very narrow little box.

    Re: Vlookup Return Zero

Here is an example of what I get. I copied a small portion of the spreadsheet to a new one and that didn't help. On sheet 1 I'm trying to confirm that the suppliers price change (column P) matched the change I Expected on sheet 2 (column G).

    =IFERROR(VLOOKUP(A3,Sheet2!A4:H108,7,FALSE),0)

Try to change to absolute reference, $A$4:$H$108 to avoid row changing when drag it down.

    …and where you still get 0 it's because item 3776764C92 doesn't exist on Sheet2.
