    Excel Inventory - create shopping list based on inventory taken

    Hi All! I'd like to learn how to create a shopping list from an inventory we count. I've tried various formulas but this may be beyond me.

    Do you just need a list of all the items in your inventory? What amount from the existing data do you need to associate to each item in the shopping list?

    I need the whole row (I'll add additional columns in the future with other details which I will also need) of just the items I need to purchase. I made a sample of the Whiskey.

    As you are using the 2007 version of Excel this proposal employs an array entered formula and a regular formula.
    A2:A7 are populated using the following array entered formula**:
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    **Array formulas are not entered in the same way as 'standard' formulas. Instead of pressing just ENTER, you first hold down CTRL and SHIFT, and only then press ENTER. If you've done it correctly, you'll notice Excel puts curly brackets {} around the formula (though do not attempt to manually insert these yourself).
    B2:L7 are populated using the following regular formula:
