Just looking for a bit of advice. I have inherited this spreadsheet and updated some of it's usability. I'm looking to do a few more things before using it.
Currently all stock going out requires a minus figure in front of the number. Is there a way to make it default to minus? Would it be better if just returned stock was a minus?
I think visual language is a fairly big part of Excel, I tried alternating colours both horizontally and vertically. Is it visually usable?
The stock is updated regularly and I plan to add stock codes. Is there a way of using filters to order the stock in department order (Column C) I'm thinking I can do this in the Prices tab and drag the formula in Usage and Stock tabs, but only at the start of a month not during usage? This is not imperative but would be useful.
Any other tips would be great.
