    Pivot table for Census data

    Good Day!
    New to Excel & Forum

I want to create a Pivot table for Household Income Screenshot is attached for your reference.

    Issues
    1: Data have multilevel sub-categories.
2: Main category contains figures and in sub categories Currency is shown.

If I combine main categories & Sub-cotegories then main category will SUM-up the digits with States, which I dont want.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards

Re: Pivot table for Census data

Hello noman35114 and Welcome to Excel Forum.
Is the table in the .xlsx file supposed to be a sample of the pivot table you would like or is it the raw data that will be used to produce a pivot table?
This thread has received 71 views over the past two plus days and 7 (now 8) people have opened the file, yet there are no responses, which suggests to me that nobody knows what you want.
Please give us more information or better yet another sample .xlsx file that shows an example of the raw data and a manually produced illustration of the way in which a pivot table should use that example of the raw data.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.

Re: Pivot table for Census data

    Thank You for your response.

Yes, I am unable to describe my problem, Please check the attachment this is what I am trying to create.

Also I have inserted one custom function for the Cell that are blank
    E.g
    If Column E is blank
then Function will check any value in Column D
or if D is also blank
then repeat the function till its find the value form column B to E

    Hope this may clarify.

    Regards
