Overlay data labels over axis tickmark labels

    Hi
I have added the label to the last data point on a line chart and want its label to overlay the y-axis tick marks if it stands near hem - do you think this can be done?

Hard to tell without seeing a workbook and your actual chart.

As long as there is space between right side of plot area and the right side of the chart object the label will overlay the vertical axis, if that too is positioned to the right or is the secondary axis.
If you actually want to place a label by the axis then a dummy series used explicitly to display a label maybe the better approach
    Cheers
