Conditional Formatting based on other cells highlight

    Hello all,

As always, this community has been a great help.

Please see attached spreadsheet, but what I'm trying to do now is get rows to highlight based on the data input. What's throwing me off is, the formatting isn't based off anything that matches, it's just based off data that doesn't match.

2nd, once the end user fills in F6 ("Data 4"), I would then like to have that CELL highlight a different color while leaving the rest of the row highlighted.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Your description talks about highlighting and different colors but doesn't explain what colors you want.

I have updated your file to use the same blue as your comments to highlight the row, and yellow to highlight the individual cell.

This involves one rule to determine if the row matches, and another to determine if the row AND the column matches. You also have to get the rules in the right order.
