Find Words in a Cell

I have 500 cells in a spreadsheet

I am wanting to highlight in an adjacent cell, if any of these words are found in the cell that I wish to search.

Start by searching A1 with answer YES or Blank in B1. then A2 etc

soil
Soil
Spoil
spoil
tunnel
PFAS
Tunnel
Contamination

Try this in B1 copied down:

=IFERROR(LOOKUP(1000,SEARCH(G$1:G$8,A1),G$1:G$8),"")

where G$1:G$8 contains your lookup list.
