decimal problems

Hi,

have problem placing my decimals
when I fill in 543.478 the figure appear in the cell, but in the bar above the decimal disappear
no matter what i do as soon as get out it disappear. I formatted as general or number 3 decimals ... it does not help

the problem is calculations use the figure without decimal, so in this case i buy 1000x more :-(

sometimes I even get 187.543.769 to see in the cell with a bigger figure

what is wrong please ?

Hi,

Maybe you have set Thousands separator is dot (.). Try following steps.

+ Go to Excel options
+ Select Advanced tab
+ Under Editing options:
- Uncheck Use system separators
- Change Decimal separator to dot (.)
- Change Thousands separator to comma (,)
