Hello Experts:
I need some assistance with preventing users to a) un-hide hidden tabs and b) access VBA code.
Background:
- The attached XLSM (blank sheets for demo purposes only) includes 3 tabs: "Dashboard", "Data", and "Lookup".
- The 1st tab "Dashboard" shall be visible to all users upon opening the file.
- The 2nd & 3rd tabs ("Data" & "Lookup") will be hidden tabs... for demo purposes only, I did NOT hide them for now.
- Also, I have included a generic VBA welcome message (thrown upon opening the file).
Here's what I'd like to achieve:
- I would like to prevent users from accessing the (later on) hidden tabs "Data" & "Lookup".
- Naturally, any administrator needs to be able to access/view/modify anything on those 2 tabs as well as access the VBA code. Administrator will have a password (e.g., "1234").
My Question:
- Is it possible to add, e.g., a password (e.g., "1234") so that regulars users **without** the password A) CANNOT un-hide the hidden tabs & B) CANNOT access the VBA code/modules?
- If so, how could such be added to the attached sample XLSM?
Thank you in advance!
