it is says the workbook is protected but it isn't
Yes it is, if you got the Review Ribbon you'll see that Protect Workbook is highlighted.
If you click the button it will will ask for a password, which you will need to get from whoever protected it to start with.

And if you dont have the password, please dont ask us to bypass it for you, we have a rule against doing that.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Hi
I appreciate your help and understand your stance on removing the password, however I will need to try and find a way as the person who set
It doesn’t remember.
Thanks

Question Re: workbook acting as if it's protected

Hi
With reference to my original post it is't just this workbook it's all my excel files all have Protect Workbook highlighted this was caused by someone doing a save as on the file I posted but the back ground on the file was it had originally been password protected I ran a macro to remove the password, not sure if both are linked.

Basically all my excel files are locked is there anything I can do.

Thanks
