Counting cells in a column that have been conditionally formatted as out of date

Hi I have a training workbook that has 2 columns per person for capturing training dates. In the pic the cells in Column I are populated with M or M* column J is used for entry of dates when training has been completed. Column J is conditionally formatted to turn green if within date and red if out of date - my problem is my countif formula in I32 ( =COUNTIFS(J115:J128,">1",$A115:$A128,"eLearning",I115:I128,"M") works but i would like it not to count dates that are in red. Is there a simple way to do this?

Thanks in advance for any help

Sumit Bansal has developed three different ways to count cells by color. Hope one of these works for you.

thanks for your help but sadly that only works for manually filled cells and not for cells with Conditional formatted colour

Use the rule you used to conditionally format the cells red as your extra COUNTIFS criterion.

Attach a sample workbook if you want more specific guidance.
