    Table cells partially greyed out

    Hi there,

I am working with an excel sheet that is showing me some greyed out cells. Please check screenshot.
I am not sure what is causing this. The formulas/calculations work and i do not thing that it is related to "clearing the print area" like it is suggested in other posts here in the forum.
The issue doesn't seem to be column or row related.

Does anyone have an idea what could cause this? I would appreciate some help!

    Thanks!

    Best regards,
    Alex

    Welcome to the forum.

Is there any conditional formatting set up in the workbook?

There are instructions at the top of the page explaining how to attach your sample workbook.

    Thanks for the quick reply!
I am afraid I can not post my excel sheet here, as we are talking about the financial part of a business plan.
Conditional formatting is not active far as I know. It is strange that I see cells side by side that seem to be identical.. with no value, but one is greyed out and the other one not.

    Hi the_excel

It goes without saying that you won't post confidential information here. :-) I usually copy part of the excel sheet I'm working on and then put other data in. This way I keep confidentiality but imitate the exact same situation. Works fine for me that way! It surely made me save a lot of time so far.

As Doja says, you should provide a sample workbook, as the instructions up top state.
