    Multiply the existing values with duration in a same cells.

    Hi,

    Required a formula help to multiply the values with duration (B5:B10) in a same cells (D10:F10) where values are exists, expected results are available in Cells (H10:J10) which as same manner required with formula in cells (D10:F10).


    Sample sheets attached with expected results.

    You can't get a result where you have a value and a formula in the same cell, using excel formule.. cells can contain a value or a formula. Not both.

    so then here only the way to multiply the values as calculated for expected results in cells(H10:J10).

    H5 cell formula , Drag down and accross

    Another solution is to change the original area D5:F10, the method is as follows

    Pls Click the left mouse button to select the ranges area B5:B10 , Click the right mouse button
    choose Copy , then Click the left mouse button to select the ranges area D5:F10 ,
    Click the right mouse button , choose paste special , choose Multiply and Confirm OK
    Final Result you will get it
