    Formula to Count Cells that Don't Contain a Value

    Hi all,
    I need a formula for a selection of cells in one column that DO NOT contain the word "sheet".

    So, COUNTIF A5:A144 does not contain "sheet".

    Anyone that can help me with this?

    How about:

    =COUNTIF(A5:A144,"<>*sheet*")
