Format Cells on a Protect Sheet

Looking for a solution, I need to be able to format a certain range on a protected sheet, but not be able to format the rest of the sheet. Example: Columns A through L are locked with formulas and color coded cells, but Columns N through AG I need to be able to format as needed. Is this possible?

    Welcome to the forum.

If you set cells as unlocked, they’ll remain editable when you protect the sheet. Also play with the check boxes in the protection dialog.

Yes, I can edit them, but I'm looking to be able to format (highlight, change font) of only a certain range while not allowing formatting anywhere else on the sheet.

Either you set those cells as unlocked or, if that won’t work for you, you may need to look at VBA.
