    Check Timestamps

    I have two columns,

In Column A I have timestamps for the form submitted such as

    1/10/2021 19:04:01
    1/10/2021 19:30:01
    1/10/2021 20:10:42

In Column B I have time filled out manually by the associates when the form began to be filled such as

    5:48:00 PM
    7:11:00 PM
    7:39:00 AM

Will there might be a difference in timing, that is not an issue, I want to know how can I check whether it matches in terms of AM or PM?

Example, the third one is PM but the timing filled says 7:39 AM when it should have been 7:39 PM.

How can I have a formula or anything that says where it is TRUE or FALSE for AM / PM specifically?

    Thanks

    Hi there.

A picture is worth 1,000 words. An Excel sheet is worth 1,000 pictures.

Please read the yellow banner about sample worksheets, at the top of the screen. Act on its guidelines and post a SMALL sample sheet.

    If A1 is real date/time:

    =IF(MOD(A1,1)>0.5,"PM","AM")

I need it to mention TRUE or FALSE based on two columns, is that possible?

Hi. Back again... I got your sheet, but I don't really understand what you want me to do. Can you explain again? There is no relationship at all between the values in Col A and Col B... But at least I know HOW the values are entered in your cells... which is an advance.

    In C2:

    =IF(OR(AND(MOD(A2,1)>=0.5,MOD(B2,1)>=0.5),AND(MOD(A2,1)<0.5,MOD(B2,1)<0.5)),TRUE,FALSE)

    maybe????
