Question Batch process multiple excel files from template, each file has different data in one cell

    Hi All,

I am trying to figure out a way to produce a large number of Excel files quickly. All files would be nearly identical except for the data in one cell (a different name, populated from a list). I am not sure how to go about this, have searched the web but haven't found my specific case yet. In the simple example below I would be looking to create 30 sheets just like this but with a different name in each, populated from a list of 30 names.

    Thank you in advance!

I was able to adapt this to my specific file and it worked as described, thank you! I notice however that the formatting is lost using this code. Is there a way to have the code copy the file contents and formatting? My file has some shading and merged cells that I would like to retain with this process. I've attached a copy of the file we've been using with some simple shading and a merged cell added in. Can you help with code that would copy this and output copies with the unique name as before?

    Thank you in advance!!

Yes! I'm almost there! I am encountering a new issue where each output file produces an error (that I can click through each time) "The following features cannot be saved in macro-free workbooks: VB project"

I don't mind, and prefer that the output files be macro-free, however this click for each file is an extra step I did not encounter before. Does it have to do with the way I entered the code or some excel setting?

    Thanks again in advance!!
