I have a append query created but get "data format error for Columns D and J thru M: We couldn't convert to Number". All show error in query and blank after load. Source data is in text and so is the query value selection. Not sure how to fix this........please help!
Not much to o on with what you've posted, we only see empty columns, what's the content of what you want to show in that column? If it should be converted to number, how is presented from the Query.
I hope you don't expect us to 'guess' but actual data will help.
If the query runs you can aks if its a number, I don't know where the query comes from, how it's exported etc etc etc.
Moer information and let's say 5 -10 ros of the qyery data might shed a light and if there's sensitive data in the adjacent columns just empty that field

In case you 'd like to convert it to real number, try to copy a blank cell, then "paste special/Operation:Add" to re-activate them.

I found my error and it was in the column headings. Some labels didn't match others in same column on other sheets. Thanks tho!
