    Drop Down Arrow Question why is it appearing

    On the attached Excel worksheet why is there a permanent drop down arrow appearing in Cell O2. It does not appear in cells O3 thru O7. They are have the same formula and conditional formatting. The user is not required to select from a list similar to what is required in J2.

    Can someone explain to me why this arrow is appearing?

    You have AutoFilter switched on for that column. Click on Sort & Filter and then Filter to switch it off.

    Thank you that solved the problem Not sure how I managed to turn it on as I have never used that function. Another learning experience. Again thanks for your help.
