Pasting Multiple Cells to New Workbook pastes entire range

    Hello,
This behavior is a bit odd...
If I select the individual Cells A1 and A10 in Workbook 1 and try to paste into a new workbook it will paste the entire A1:A10 range in the new workbook.
I can paste within Workbook 1 and it will paste the individual cells into a column, but any paste attempt outside of workbook 1 pastes the entire range.
Is there any way to fix this?

Very odd, the only way I can replicate your odd paste is to use Shift instead of Ctrl for sticky multi-selections.

Re: Pasting Multiple Cells to New Workbook pastes entire range

    Thanks for the reply!
I played around with it a bit more and it appears to have something to do with the "Ignore other applications that use Dynamic Data Exchange" setting...
I enabled the setting so that I can have two excel windows, one for each monitor. If both documents are opened in ONE excel window I don't get any issues with pasting CTRL selections.
When I attempt to paste from one excel window to a second instance/window of excel the CTRL selection will paste the range instead...weird.

Maybe this additional info will help provide some clarity?
I can do what I need to now, but would like to use two Excel windows to do so if it's even possible...

I don't think it's possible based on the criticality of the case.
