    Select cells by intervals

    Hi!

    I'm new here and I'm a fairly new Excel user

    I have the following problem: I have a huge file with rows of numbers (shorten example attached) - I would like to select cells according to intervals, let's say only cells with values between 200 and 230 and hide the rest. I've been using filter for this, but since the file is so big, it takes too much time to manually click the data you would like to see presented, since filter lists all of the numbers in the column.

    I hope my explanation was not too confusing, thank you very much for your help!

    Welcome to the forum.

    There is no Excel version 2101 - please change your forum profile to 365 (issue number 2101).

    Try htis:
    =IFERROR(INDEX(A:A,AGGREGATE(15,6,ROW($B$2:$B$100)/(($B$2:$B$100>=200)*($B$2:$B$100<=230)),ROWS(F$1:F1))),"")

    in F1 copied across and down.

    Adjust the ranges (red) to suit, but don't use whole coilumn references, unless you really DO have 1,000,000 rows.

    In Austria, you may need to use ; instead of ,

    BUT, if you DO have O365, use this instead:

    =FILTER(A1:B100,(B1:B100>=200)*(B1:B100<=230))
