    Hi,

    i created drop down with % and lookup on it.
    the issue is that i have duplicate there:

    How to based on list show appropriate result?

    So first 8,5 % --> show Res1
    Second 8,5 % --> show Res2

    Re: Drop down duplicate lookup result

    One way would be to change the second 8.5 to 8.50000000001

    it'll make no practical difference, but will enable VLOOKUP to return the correct answer.

    Re: Drop down duplicate lookup result

    If the drop-down is prepared this way as it is at the moment (with Data Validation) I don't think it is possible.
    Data validation just changes the value of E7 leaving no evidence which value from the list it is.

    You could use dropdown created as combo box (from developer-insert-form controls). Then it displays values from the list, but in connected cell (I used cell under the combobox) it returns position f selected value on the input list. And of course you can use INDEX function in this case to find related value from second column.
    See attached example
