Messed up the sorting

Hello everyone,

glad to be here. Please excuse my english, I am not a native speaker.
Only recently I started to do some work on excel for webmapping purposes. Unfortunately I am not very into it, that's why a big mistake happened.
I sorted a column by alphabet without sorting the other columns accordingly. Now the order is messed up and doesn't make any sense. I tried to undo the step and restore older versions of the document, but there are none. Is my document lost, or is there a workaround?
Any help is aprpeciated.
