Error in formula range

Hi, hope everyone is doing well!

I am trying to count text cells, but I can't due to something I don't understand. Anyone know what is this and how to solve it? I am selecting my desired range but notice that when selected there is a "#" at the end of it. I'm having 0 as an answer but that's wrong as there is obviously data within that range. See the image attached to see what I refer to. I would greatly appreciate your help!
