    Excel tables

    Hi all,

I am looking at moving some of my word from Word to Excel - mainly tables and forms, as these can be populated onto several sheets from a master sheet etc.

But, the table lines (borders) are a lot thicker and darker than in Word.

Is there a way to make the lines thiner/light so the table would look like a Word table.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks

    Re: Excel tables

You can select a range of cells (or the whole table) and right-click and then choose Format Cells | Border tab. You will see a variety of line styles and thicknesses that you could apply.

I think Word has probably got more control over borders than Excel, though.

    Hope this helps.
