    SumIf Using Multiple Columns and Rows

    Hi All
    Trying to put together an attendance report to count number of days each staff is at work, AL, LSL, etc…
    Thought l could get the SUMIFS formula to work but having trouble.
    Needs to go across multiple range of cells in columns and rows.
    Can anyone please help?

    Hi,

    Put this in B16, and Drag down and across

    =COUNTIF(INDEX($B$5:$G$9,MATCH(B$14,$A$5:$A$9,0),0),$A16)

    =SUMPRODUCT(($A$5:$A$9=B$14)*($B$5:$G$9=$A16))
