Populate SKU codes next to calendar dates

Sorry - me again! (I feel like the guest who massively overstays their welcome..... but I am sure this is the last one).

I need to be able to visually see when our trips start and end in comparison to each other, to manage skipper workload.

We have all the calendar dates down one column. If possible, I need to have the trip SKU code entered next to every date that that trip is running (not just start and end date). AND...(!) I need the SKU code to go in the correct column by boat.

I have attached a simple file again.

First of all, there is no limit to the number of requests for help that you may make on the forum, so no need to apologise.

Secondly, don't assume that we have all read your previous threads - as far as I'm concerned, this is your first thread.

Your example file only shows two boats. Is that the case, or have you just simplified things for this sample file? If the latter, how many boats are you likely to have?

It might be better to arrange your data the other way round, so you have the headings at the top of the columns and work down for each trip.

You could have a "proper" calendar display rather than a linear list, whereby you can show a month at a time with a week across the sheet (e.g. from Sunday to Saturday). Is this something you might be interested in?

I'll be out in the garden for most of the afternoon, but I can pick up any replies this evening.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete

I agree with Pete, but for your example in c4 try =IFERROR(LOOKUP(2,1/(($I$6:$L$6=C$3)*($I$4:$L$4<=$B4)*($I$5:$L$5>=$B4)),$I$3:$L$3),"")

Thank you so much everyone. I used DAVSTH's formula and it worked like a dream. I am genuinely blown away by this forum, the helpfulness of everyone and all your knowledge!
