Auto Transmit Data from Postage scale to Excel

Hello!

We are currently retaking accurate inventories in our warehouse, including the size and weight of each shelf item. I need to get the weights entered into the Excel file quickly. I have a postage scale with a USB port that allows it to be hooked up to my windows pc. However, the scale does not have a "transmit data" button such as enter or print. From what I've seen from my own research, all of the software that would allow you to weigh something and then have that weight auto generate in excel requires the "transmit data" button that I do not have. This process would be much faster if we didn't have to type in the weight for every item in our warehouse! If anyone knows of any other ways to get the data from my scale to my pc, please let me know!
