    Conditional formatting based on two cell values

    I am using this conditional formatting formula, but I want to add another requirement, that there is any text in A4. If there is no text in A4 then it would not meet the requirement.

    =G4 < EDATE(TODAY(),-18)

    Thank you for any help with this.

    Nick

    Use this:

    =AND(A4<>"",G4 < EDATE(TODAY(),-18))

    I think your forum profile will need updating - which version of Excel are you using?
