Sumproduct with date & list criteria

I've had no problems using this formula with google sheets
=SUMPRODUCT((MONTH(Checking!$A$3:$A$1000)=Summary!C$4)*(YEAR(Checking!$A$3:$A$1000)=Summary!C$3)*(Checking!$C$3:$C$1000)=$B5)

But its not working in excel.

Trying to simply search a ledger for transactions that took place within a certain month that matches a category list.
For example, TOTAL money spent in March, in 2021, for "Marketing."

Try this:

=SUMPRODUCT((MONTH(Checking!$A$3:$A$1000)=Summary!C$4)*(YEAR(Checking!$A$3:$A$1000)=Summary!C$3)*(Checking!$C$3:$C$1000=$B5)*(Checking!$E$3:$F$1000<>""),Checking!$E$3:$F$1000)

You have to identify the range where the values are!!!
