Using Index Match to pull spending from the current month?

Hello,

I've been trying to use index/match to retrieve the amount spent in the current month. Overtime, I would like this formula to automatically adjust (ex. shows may spending next month etc.). It appears that excel is not finding my lookup value in the array.

I have attached my workbook for reference. Thanks in advance!
