Some Files Can Contain Viruses when clicking hyperlink

Hi,

I searched as assumed this would of been raised but nothing came up, please point me in right direction if it's been asked before.

I keep getting 'Some Files Can Contain Viruses or otherwise be harmful to your computer" when i click on a hyperlink within my document

• I have full admin rights
• it's my personal computer
• the files i'm linking to are on my local computer (mp4, tested with mp3 and same result)

In Trust Center

1. I tried enabling 'trust all data connections' in trust center, did nothing
2. I added vlc programme and subfolders (my default player) to my trusted locations
3. I added the folder and subfolders where the files are located to my trusted locations
4. Allow documents on a network to be trusted is ticked
5. Active X and Macro settings are all enabled (against the recommendation of excel)

this is a Windows issue.
to resolve you will need to be able to edit your registry, without killing your computer, so do not do this unless you know what you are doing.
