Auto calculate day/night hours from a start/finish time

    Hi,

I'm not sure if this is possible at all

I'm trying to figure out a way that, from inputting a start and finish time, I can have the system automatically calculate the payment.

Payments are 12.50 between the hours of 5am and 10pm, and between 10pm and 5am payments are 14.

I am having lots of manual inputting issues at the moment which is causing issues, in a perfect world I would just simply put the start & finish time in, and a formula would calculate the daily rate (between 5am-10pm) and the night rate automatically

    Is this possible?

    Thanks in advance,
    Dom

    Welcome to the forum

Please attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

As Pepe said we need a sample workbook.

Try the attached as a starter
