Insert Column and Keep Formula

Hello Everyone,

I have a document which users will be using on a regular basis. I have locked the sheet so no data can be changed unless allowed via the cell being unlocked. I want the users to be able to insert a column but when doing so, the formulas from the column to the left or right do not copy over. Is there a Non-VBA way of doing this. I cannot use macros either.

If you insert a column now, do the formulas copy over? Normally nothing will copy over if you just insert a column.

Hi Mikeava, Currently when I right click on a column and select insert, formatting will copy over but no formulas. I am wanting to find a way to have this happen.

Highlight the column you want to duplicate
Click on Copy
Then when you right-click the next column you should see Insert Copied Cells
