Formatting Based on Outline Level Showing

    Hi

The attached workbook has a list of values with SUBTOTALS. I want the Formatting of the SUBTOTALS to change when the Outline is Collapsed.

I am open to Classic Excel or vba solutions.

    Any ideas ?

    Thank You

You could use SUBTOTAL calls in format condition formulas. SUBTOTAL(102,some_range) would return 0 if all of some_range were hidden due to outlining or filtering and nonzero when not hidden AND containing numbers. If some_range would contain text, use SUBTOTAL(103,some_range). See this example.
