Remove spaces in each cells

Hi All,

i have a huge data in my excel file from A1 to A12000. In each cells the data has some spaces (it might be single space, double space or triple space). I tried removing these spaces by doing Ctr H by replacing with space, with trim formula, substitute fromula and TRIM(SUBSTITUTE(A1,CHAR(160),"")) but its not working out. Can anyone please help me how to remove these spaces. Thanks.

No, you have described how much data you have, what you want to do, what you have tried, and what has failed. That IS clear. What is not clear is the underlying data/character(s) that cause the problem.

Let's hope Rick's guess is correct. If not, that's all we have, a guessing game.

I agree with TMS. However, you HAVE uploaded sample sheets MANY times in the past. So, please do so again. Until we see what the problems actually are, we're just playing guessing games. That is a waste of everybody's time.

Even I agree that I have uploaded samples many times, but there was no restrictions in my laptop earlier.. Just check when was the last time I uploaded sample..it's long time back.. Now if I needed to upload I have to go to cyber cafe which is not possible due to covid.. I will just check Rick's formula tomorrow and update the status.. Thanks
