I'm running into a simple issue to get a count to populate under rows. I'm not sure if the constraints of a pivot allow what I'm looking for. However if I look from B4:B29 in the attached image i know there are 26 items; when i collapse the field how do i get it to show a count instead of remaining blank?

Perhaps this workaround may help.
Another column (Distinct PO's) is added to the raw data, on Sheet2, using: =IF(COUNTIFS(C$2:C2,C2)=1,1,0)
The new column is then added to the Values area of the pivot table.
