how conditional format 1-1, 3-2, 2-3 etc., etc.

Hi my friends and I made a soccer group prediction group.
To make is more easy to view I want a conditional format, but don't know how.

We made a prediction ("hometeam" - "questteam").
    For example 3-1 (hometeam wins)
    2-2 (tie)
    1-3 (home team loose)

In sheet 2 I only want to enter the score. How to conditional (exact right prediction and right club wins) in the main sheet if the result is only entered in sheet "Result"

English is not my native language (probably you can tell) so my apologies for explaining it bad.

I made an example based on Row 4,5 and 6

Hi. Before we get going on this one...

Is your forum profile showing the Excel PRODUCT that you need this request to work with?

The best solutions often rely on knowing WHICH Office PRODUCT (Excel, NOT Windows) that you have. Please check that your forum profile is up-to-date. If you aren't sure, in Excel go to File/Account and report what it says below the MS logo at the top of that page. If your version is for Mac, please also state this.

The three most recent Excel PRODUCTS are Excel 2019, Excel 2021 and MS365 - if you are using MS365, please give this name along with the Version number in your profile (e.g. MS365 (PC) Version 2211). The version number is in the About Excel section further down the Account page.

ALSO... Put the cursor in Cell F4 and look at teh formula bar. It is showing a date. Excel always tries to convert anything that LOOKS like a date, to a date. Format ALL cells in that table as TEXT. Lots of them will turn to values like 44562. These need to be re-entered as text.

    Cheers,

    Glenn.

    Hi Glenn,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have a Mac running excel, unfortunately it does not have a function like TEXTSPLIT.
    It's version Version 16.59 (22031300)

The date problem is fixed. I did

Please amend your profile to show your Excel PRODUCT and the fact that you're using a Mac.

Is this what you wanted? If so, you can delete rows 15-21 (I kept them... just in case).
