Question Conditional format to hightlight accumilated sum from a cell.

hi there, I was wondering to please get some help on this one,

I would like to create a rule that highlights the cells in row 4 "D" to "AQY". These currently have numbers of 1 in it.

The basic concept is to highlight the cells mentioned above once the accumilated value is matched from cell D1.

In this case, start the sum from 4D and finish on 4DJ because that equates to the value in cell D1 which is 111.

I would also like to conntinue this function for the remainder of the ROW C up till the very end "AQY" but with other colours.

    Is this even possible ?

    Can anyone please assist ?

    Welcome to the forum.

Yes, it's possible, but is it sensible?

    Consider this:

    1. Too much colour-coding can make your workbook very hard to read.
    2. Too much conditional formatting (which is what you'll need) CAN lead to a workbook slow-down.

Please attach a workbook with the colour-coding you want to see mocked up manually.

There is no Excel 2017 - do you have MS365? Please update your profile.
